JUSTIFICATION Cleaning of Data Centers and Communications Rooms should be performed by qualified personnel who will use techniques and equipment designed to clean without re-contaminating environment or disrupt the Data Center and Communications Rooms. Surface cleaning of racks and above pipes is done by using a damp cloth and vacuum, then the gap between the soil and subsoil (most important area of the Data Center for cleanliness), as it is the plenum generally where the cold air is distributed. It is also the most critical site because dust and dirt accumulates. It is very important to properly clean the floor tiles of the Data Center that are designed to dissipate static electricity. Dirt reduces electrostatic dissipating property of these tiles. Should be cleaned one by one all those to which access is outside the room and install again and level.

BENEFITS OF TECHNICAL CLEANING - Extend the life of the new equipment in the rooms, avoiding contamination thereof. - Minimize the risk of fire due to the accumulated dust on the hardware. - Avoid electro static discharge causing transmission failure between computers. - Avoid the existence of ferrous material (oxides). - To minimize mechanical wear and hardware failures. - Minimize air pollution - Remove contaminants alive - Avoid cleaning by unqualified staff that may cause damage and downtime - Keep the environment free of contaminating particles. - Extend the life of air conditioning filters. - Avoid using harsh cleaning agents that can attack the hardware and pollute the environment

CONTENT SERVICE Raised Floor: - Removing large waste - Vacuum Waste - Vacuum micro-particles - Thorough cleaning with special products of data cables, power cables, cable trays, rosettes, raised floor structure Floor Tiles: - Removal of tile - Cleaning the outside of the Data Center with no aggressive products - Positioning and Leveling - Cleaning of the top of the tile. Data Cabling and Power: - Aspiration of micro-particles - Clean the surface of the wires. Racks and Hardware (exterior): - Aspiration of external racks. - Dry cleaning of critical parts. - Clean Rack and glass door access.

USED EQUIPMENT - Vacuum with HEPA filter (filtering particles down to 0.3 microns) and accessories - Industrial Vacuum Cleaner - Special Products (non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-harmful to the environment and AntiStatic) - Special brushes for all types of surfaces and corners. - General Cleaning. - Other accessories for the development of the technical cleaning

PURITY ANALYSIS OF AIR Should carry out an analysis of the amount of suspended particles containing air with an optical particle analyzer. This analysis follows the International Standard ISO 14644, with several measures over the entire surface of the Data Center (according to standard depends on the size), with the limits of that legislation the values indicated in the table: Clase

IT TILES A good Technical Cleaning should last over time. Data Centers should be kept clean according to ISO 14644 Class 8. 80% of dust and dirt in the critical area occurs in the feet (Source: 3M). IT Tiles located at the entrance of the technical rooms avoid more than 99% of the dust and dirt from entering the room and near the ground level.

IT TILES IT tiles provide important benefits: -

Longer equipment life Reduced loss of data and read / write errors Reduced maintenance cost itself Improved reliability of its facilities

Dust may cause irreversible damage to computer systems to obstruct heat sinks and cooling systems leading to overheating and cause an increased risk of fire hazard. No protection against dust, there is great risk of data loss and hardware failures in Data Centers.
